Nirmalam Puthuyuga Suchitwa Kerala Launched in Ottoor Grama Panchayat

With the aim of leading Ottoor Grama Panchayat towards complete cleanliness, the 'Nirmalam Puthuyuga Suchitwa Kerala' project was officially launched. The Panchayat-level inauguration was performed by the Grama Panchayat President at a ceremony held in the Panchayat Hall on August 2.

Building a garbage-free and green panchayat is the main objective of this project. As part of this, the President detailed a clear roadmap during the event regarding the follow-up activities to be implemented in the coming days.

Extensive cleaning and awareness programs under the project will be carried out across all wards in the Panchayat. These activities will be coordinated directly under the leadership of the respective ward representatives. The project places strong emphasis on ensuring community-participatory waste management systems and keeping public spaces clean.

During the meeting, the President expressed hope that all residents would participate in this cleanliness drive for the betterment of the region, and that through the collective efforts of public representatives and volunteers, Ottoor can be transformed into a model sanitation panchayat.
